Pastor Mike & Molly

Pastor Mike DeKraai became the tenth pastor called to serve Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church on February 1, 2007.  He brings a passion for God, God's Word and God's people.  Having been an elementary school teacher, he brings a love for children of all ages.

On June 10, 1990, Pastor Mike was ordained in his home congregation, First Lutheran Church in Brookings, South Dakota.  Before coming to Holy Cross, he served as Associate Minister to Single Adults and Pastoral Care of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longview, Washington for more than 10 years, from 1988-1999.  His second call was to Big Grove-Crow River Lutheran Parish of Belgrade, Minnesota, serving there from 1999-2007.
